Hi Amy,

I'm on the protein train today, today being my first day. You only drink

protein shakes (3 of them) and liquids for 3 days to kick start your weight loss

again. I've been at a plateau for so long now and Lou was telling us

about it. I'll let ya know how it turned out for me come Friday. So far I'm

doing ok, but I really want to eat something...lol. Good thing I have support

group tonight, hopefully I can get through.

Amy,

Just thought I'd let you know that I've been told and it's true that you

don't lose inches and weight at the same time so your still doing GREAT!!!!!

Even

if I haven't lost too many pounds the inches are definitely coming off. In

fact, guess I need to brag a little I'm 3 sizes down since surgery. Started at

a 30/32 and today to work I've worn a 22/24 blouse and it's almost too big.

YIPPPEEEEEEE!!!!! Don't get discouraged even if it's hard to not. I keep

telling myself that too....lol.

That is great! You make it sound kinda easy too:) Did you lose the 7 pounds in

three days?

Hey everyone. Just wanted to let you all know that the protein train

worked for me!!! For all of you who know me complaining..haha.. I

have been stuck at a 50 pounds loss for three weeks. I decided to

try this over the weekend. I did protein shakes three times a day, a

ton of water, and sugarfree pudding for a little snack at night. I

lost 7 pounds as of this morning!! I am now down to 262!! I feel so

great. 7 more pounds and I will be where I was when I married my

hubby 8 years ago!!! It was very hard too considering we had friends

over on Saturday and BBQ on the grill. Those hot dogs looked so good

(not like they were a good choice for me anyway but still). I stayed

true to it and I have been rewarded. Just thought I would share!!

Best wishes to everyone having surgery today. You are in our

thoughts and prayers!!

Amen sister! It¹s soooo easy to get frustrated! We¹ve battled this our

entire lives, but if you¹re doing what the doctor says and watching what

you¹re eating and exercising it will come off, there¹s no doubt about it.

Just keep your chin up and stay positive. I¹ll feel like the scale isn¹t

moving at all, but at the end of every month I¹m down 10 more pounds and

that to me is great and I stay positive about those 10 pounds and keep

striving for that, knowing that I can keep it up!!!
