Guest guest Posted November 5, 2003 Report Share Posted November 5, 2003 Some of you know I have recently gone from one Hershey choc almond BIG bar a day to NO chocolate/sugar and very, very few carbs (cold turkey and lots of support from many of you-thank you!). I can say I kicked the habit, but in reality I just haven't given it to it. It was screaming to me tonight, I told my dh we had to get home " right now " (we were on a date at Walmart, lol, take 'em when you can get 'em) and immediately made us shakes. I guess I " m stubborn, I don't want to start over again, undo the time I have. I have been discouraged because nothing is looser, I " m not losing, and I was getting quite ticked. I've been thinking " gosh why bother giving up the choc if I'm not even going to lose anything? " Well....I've lost FIVE pounds so far (I'll take 'em!). I was kind of upset that I have to keep fighting this back, I thought after a period of time it would be behind me. Thank goodness for protein drinks!
