Guest guest
Howzabout a note from teacher? Gel caps are ok, as they are just gelatin. The shell will dissolve. Now, what's IN them is another matter. Oils/fats are at least partially malabsorbed, though I almost fell outta my chair when I saw mention of this in Beyond Change, it didn't even use my qualifier of " to a degree " , just said we malabsoirb 'em. Period. OK, those who want them use Coromega, which is smaller than a fast food ketchup packet, tastes like orange pudding to most. Carol A (Tuesdynite) can't stand them, but many can and some even enjoy them frozen. I tested 'em on my own blood and they actually DO raise the Omega 3/6 levels. Thanks, Vitalady, Inc. Guest guest
I take Omega 3's in a soft-gel, Omegabrite. You can get it at www.omegabrite.com I take about 5-7 a day and I know I get some of it because they affect my dreams tremendously. A friend gets the same effect on 1 per day. So, in my case, I'm sure I absorb some, but no clue as to how much. I do know my diet is fairly high in fat, and I couldn't be absorbing it or I couldn't maintain my weight. in Austin RNY April 1998 softgel and gelcap question > I have been looking into taking the > Omega oils and they all seem to be softgels...I saw Salmon oil and it is also a > softgel.
