Guest guest
I think any medicines are legal if needed. I take arnica 30x pills for pain sometimes and use the gel. A lot of people take supplements as needed. It's pretty much diet rules not medicines. Sometimes people will post to ask opinions but not really permission. I guess it depends on how 'strict' you personally want to try to stay SCD. Some people are even considerate of lip balm, others are not. And it may be more pecanbread.com related since it's different issues being addressed. Maybe a moderator can chime in more succinctly ;-). It depends. <smile> Most homeopathics (the little pills) are made with lactose. This can be a problem for people who are very intolerant of lactose. By creating a dilution (so long as the diluting liquid is not an SCD-illegal), you reduce the amount of lactose. Just as an FYI, I did not tolerate the lactose in the ibuprofen I was given for pain relief after my cancer surgery. I gave me gut spasms and diarrhea. However, I was fine with the 30C arnica I was using. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund Babette the Foundling Beagle
Guest guest
Thanks Marilyn. These are liquid homeopathics to get rid of yeast. No lactose. I do have to take other medicine like zyrtec which has lactose, but I use it to fend off anaphylactic episodes due to food and heat.It can't be helped.
