Here's a thought....have your vitamin A checked. You aren't so far out from

your surgery but that was a problem for me recently. Another thought is it

could just be from the weight loss itself. For months I looked kinda pale

and sickly even though I felt great.

I just pulled the following info from " Beyond Change " into my database

tonite!

Signs of iron deficiency: (J.Jacques) -- easy fatigability, increased heart

rate, rapid breathing--esp w/exertion, muscle weakness, pale or grayish color

(loss of " pinkness " ): this may be esp notable around the eyes or just inside

the lower eyelid where normally pink tissue may become pale; fragile or spooned

nails, intolerance to cold, restless legs at night, and persistent diffuse

hair loss.

Vit A & iron appear to support each other.

What do your labs show for iron, ferritin stores, vit A, etc? I know you're

probably not even getting tested for any vitamins at all, unless Kane et all

have changed their tune on labs...........
