Guest guest
Hi Jackie, Is it like a small bump? I have them all over the place, but on the legs they do get warms sometimes. I have them on my face and they come and go depending on how I feel, there bad when I feel bad. I would say if it's on the shin it's probably Sarcoid. However if it were in another part of the leg and deeper and warm to the touch, you should have it checked out. Marla I have a red area mid shin on my legs. Sometimes it is not there but when it is it feels warm to the touch. Can anyone help me with this? Jackie
Guest guest
Jackie, I am dealing with the same thing right now. I have it on both my lower legs and ankles and they are swelling really bad. I went to my family Doctor and he said I have Vasculitis. I am on antibiotics again and on prednizone again also. Call and have it checked it because it could be a blod clot too. Keep us posted. Guest guest
Jackie, how long has you had this? Is it painful? Also, is it a bump or flat? There are many possible answers. Oh, also, how large is it? Ramblin' RoseModerator A merry heart is good medicine. Proverbs 17:22 To: Neurosarcoidosis From: shadowme810@...Date: Sat, 19 Jun 2010 11:32:41 -0500Subject: anyone? Guest guest
Jackie, The red, warm area is called Erythema Nodosum. It is another symptom of sarcoidosis. They are usually very painful and can get a lump inside. It takes a few weeks for them to go away. When I first had sarcoidosis in 1980 I had them all over and one doctor told me I bumped myself all those times???? Yeah right. Lately mine usually pop up in my knee area.
