My

"former specialist" (yes, I canceled today's appointment) told me when

I asked about the hard band around my gut that it was one of the side effects

of taking Prednisone. He had a name for

it but I didn't write it down.

I

did not have this symptom before starting on the prednisone. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced

this. And I'm hoping it goes away after

I'm weaned completely off this steroid.
