Guest guest
A quick question about tongue thrust. I was told that I do this. I had my lower jaw brought back with my last surgery (Thursday) and seem to be having issues now swallowing - my tongue has nowhere to go and it kind of pushes on my front teeth. My Surgeon says not to worry - nothing is going to move and so I can't do any damage. But I remember asking him pre-surgery (half jokingly) where is tongue going to go? If the jaw moves back ... how does that work? Maybe a silly question - but I've been in my house now 4 days post-op and I'm maybe getting a little silly. Thanks for any ideas/answers! Not constipated yet, so I guess I must have a strong stomach!
