Guest guest
I reached my 100 lbs at my one year mark, I had the surgery March 17 2003. After that 100lbs is can starts to slow down all in all I've lost between 107 and 110lbs . I dont know if Im on the right pace or not. My Doctor is very pushy and so they expected me to have already lost 150lbs. That would be great but I cant seem to loose at a high expectancy anymore, I still loose but it goes up and down, I keep hitting a plateau, but I still walk everyday. The Doctor said that i had a Roux-n-y Low intestinal connection which makes the weight loss alittle bit slower than the high hook up. Therefore Exercising twice as much. I hope I can continue to loose. Thats why I have made Previous posts about Dieting and the Gastric Bypass. hopefully I can continue the weight loss I still want to loose 60 lbs then I've hit my goal so I'm slightly far off. I wish I would have had the surgery when i was a smaller weight, I had it when I was 300lbs Now Im Between 190 and 195, If i would have had it when I was 250 I would have already hit my goal. But its okay it only makes me work harder for what I want to acomplish. > PAM I THINK THAT IS GREAT FOR YOU. IT ALSO MAKES ME FEEL SO MUCH > BETTER. I WAS JUST COMPLAINING TO MY HUSBAND THAT I AM ALMOST 9MONTHS > POST OP AND I HAVE ONLY LOST 87LBS. SO AT LEAST I KNOW I AM NOT TOO > FAR OFF TRACK.
