Guest guest
Ronit, you're in NJ, right? Why don't you call Dr. Gagner's office at Mt. Sinai, and ask them. They have one of the largest WLS programs in the Northeast, and he is unquestionably one of the most experienced, so I would venture a guess that's he's run across pretty much everything at some point. Someone mentioned that he may be leaving Mt. Sinai, and if he has left, find out where he is, and call him. My mother has NHL, Stage 1, and with her, it's still a waiting game, like waiting for the bomb to drop. Good luck, sweetie. in NJ ****************************** > I was recently diagnosed with Non Hdgkins Lymphoma for the 2nd time should say it is out of remission but the oncologists and rhumatologists are baffeled as to how to treat it now since prior I didn't have weightloss surgery. Does anyopne of any doctor anywhere in the country who have experience treating cancer and WLS patients. I am being bounced aroiund and I am really ready to snap and go off the deep end. I have an appointment to see an intgrative medical > doctor who has been know to work wonders with all types of multiple diseases so I willing to give it a try I am even willing to travel to get the best possible treatment. Guest guest
Ronit, My bariatric surgeon, Dr. Weber, doesn't only specialize in WLS, he also does an incredible amount of oncology (cancer) work. I would suggest that you contact him for either a referral in your area, or perhaps it's worth it to actually fly out here to see him. His office is in Seattle, and his phone number there is . Let his staff know that I sent you. :-) Good luck. It's so awful to deal with so much! Z Open RNY 09/17/01 http://www.ziobro.us/index.html From: Patientadv@...
