I wondered about if it should be a " sign " kinda like when a horse chews a

tree - there is a defiency, lol. Not like I'm a horse and I do NOT chew on trees

- I'm in one of those moods. I will have everything checked out before the

year ends - get in this year's deductible.

Thanks,

I had a friend that drank a lot of water. When she went to take a urine

test for pre-employment, it came back inconclusive because she was

" waterlogged " . She had to take the test like 3 times before she passed.

We had to laugh but I think generally speaking, it is not a bad thing.

The only thing I would be concerned about would be diabetes, it tends to

make you thirsty all of the time. But then again, so do most of my meds.

A lot of water is good for you. I drink a lot myself, but I always

have. My concerns would be diabetes on the water and low iron on the

ice chewing. Right after I had my hip replaced (after WLS), I

chewed a lot of ice. It just tasted so good to me then. Then I had

labs done and my iron was low, so I went on iron supplements. Now I

have no desire to chew ice. It might be worth having both checked

unless you have recently.

Good Luck.

I think you should drink it any time your body requires it.

Our bodies have been made really well in terms of telling us it's needs.

Just most of the time we tend to misread them hehe. If you are feeling

thirsty or what not, drink up :).

At times, I kinda feel like I would like to roll around in the

grass, bite the bark off the trees, and howl at the moon...

but then I don't think that is a sign of any defiency....

This is so true. When I had profound anemia 3 years ago from fibroids I ate ice

like a mad woman. I never realized it until after I got my levels back up to

normal and it hit me that I wasn't going to the break room for cups of ice

anymore.

Anemia is nothing to mess with. I got to the point where I was having heart

palpatations and dizziness. (This was all before wls and the issue is resolved

with the other problem.)\
