I don't know if I had the same surgery as you, but I had an upper jaw

3 piece with genio back on April 4th. The day my Doctor took off my

upper mouth splint, I went out to Jack in the Box and ate an Ultimate

cheeseburger. At first it was a little difficult, but I got used to

it. I haven't tried steak yet, but I never ate steak to much even

before my surgery. However, I have eaten carne asada (steak) burritos

with no problems. I'd say I was able to eat normally about 2 months

after my surgery

Excuse me but ... were you wired shut? That sounds like an awfully

fast recovery. I'm jealous! :)
