Guest guest
My daughter is 13 months old and we are scheduled to get her banded. She has mild plagio where the side of her head is flat as opposed to the back of her head. She has been sleeping on her stomach since she was like 4 months old so she mainly lays on the right side of her head/face. At one point the back left was flatter but has rounded out. I am just wondering if anyone else who banded got rounding out on the side of the head. For some reason, I feel like this will be harder to correct but I don't recall if I read that somewhere. I feel like one of her eyes sits higher becuase she flat on that side. Any experience in this regard would be greating appreciated. Thanks, Annette
Guest guest
Betsy, Yes, my daughter has flattening above the ears and I guess I am hoping that if you round that out then the eyes won't be asymmetrical. Did that happen for you. Her forehead is symmetrical. The back left of her head is round but does not come out as far as the right so the band should also help with that to give a more symmetrical headshape overall. I really don't know what to do as my husband thinks that the helmet won't fix the issues I am most concerned about. Are you happy you banded and given the change yo son acheived would you do it again. Thanks, Annette > My daughter is 13 months old and we are scheduled to get her banded.
