Guest guest
Well, there is always Savannah, which is gorgeous!!! I fly Southwest and have a free ticket, so, that means that I couldn't get a flight to Atlanta without spending some bucks on another carrier. I am leaning towards Seattle, which I am sure is much cooler. Of course, if I had my druthers, we'd all go to Maine. But, it isn't just up to me alone. How did everyone agree on Vegas? Maybe we could do a poll? M > just throwing this out since I had to be in NJ during the Vegas trip, but > what about Atlanta? Guest guest
Atlanta is cool, and as you said, Savannah is gorgeous. Or how about a 3-4 day cruise out of FL? They are cheap now as there are tons of extra births as they are building ships left and right. A cruise would be under $400 (some are $300) and include everything - we wouldn't even need to leave the ship if we chose not to. Guest guest
I'm sure that would agree that Seattle in a great place, especially since it means that she doesn't have to get on an airplane. As long as we're throwing out cities, how about Orlando? A lot of the hotels have spas so we could get pampered and pretty, then go to Disney & Universal! Plus, just about every airline flies into the Orlando airport. I'm willing to go anywhere though, every time I've gotten together with fellow WLS'ers I've had a GREAT time. ---------------------------------------- Terry Mayers 5DollarHosting.com http://www.5dollarhosting.com .... because it shouldn't cost a fortune to make a fortune! Guest guest
I have a Winter home about an hour North of Orlando (The Villages). Depending on when you guys plan the date I would love to join everyone. I won't be back from my Tahiti trip until 1/10. Any chance this can happen after that? Guest guest
I'm in the MD/DC area and Savannah sounds good to me. It's someplace I've always wanted to go. Guest guest
I wouldn't be able to do anything but a weekend trip that early in the year. I will not be eligible for vacation time until around May/June, which is why Seattle sounded good to me, being that far from the heat down here in the south. I could swing a weekend trip in Jan or Feb, bearing in mind of course it would be without pay. (I am single, so making a habit of that would be ill-advised.) diana m > I have a Winter home about an hour North of Orlando (The Villages). > Depending on when you guys plan the date I would love to join > everyone. Guest guest
I wasn't going to go to Vegas. Had I not had free hotel there, I wouldn't have been there. I'm sure Seattle is cooler than anywhere. LOL! Harder to dress for Seattle. Bring jeans AND shorts. Of course, if it's March, no shorts will be necessary. Then it's just deciding if you're bringing your long johns, too. LOLOL! Thanks, Vitalady, Inc. Guest guest
> Does anyone think coming to Chicago is a good idea? umm...of course > I wouldn't suggest in the middle of January Yep! My daddy lives in Bradley! (for the rest of you non-Illinois-literate folks, this is 50 miles south of Chicago.) I haven't been home to Illinois since October 1991, and I miss it a bunch. I'd be up for Chi-Town. Ah, real food... no, forget I said that! LOL! ~~ Lyn G
Guest guest
and he said I can go to London (England) the following Feb. to get a new puppy. Sorry, but a new show dog and a trip to England outweighs this one. Especially the trip to England. =============================== I'm going with Jac.
