Don't know if you believe in universal connectedness, but I do, for sure, so hoping those vibes reach you and help. Meantime, have you tried any form of meditation or relaxation techniques? Just some way of being quiet and letting your mind be free of all thoughts? There are a lot of different methods, and they have helped me many times when life just gets too crazy or unbearable. BTW, I quit smoking cold turkey in September of 1989. Even tho I STILL on occasion get a craving for a butt, it's the single best thing I did for myself -- or at least way up there with WLS. I made a list of ALL the reasons I wanted to or should quit, and kept adding to it as I thought of more reasons. On a given day, I took one unopened pack of cigarettes with me to work -- as a panic avoidance technique: if I TRULY needed one, the pack was there. It became a kind of a game to see how long I could go without opening that pack up. I never did. You CAN quit, I know you can. If I --the world's worst anything-- could do it, you can.
