If this has lasted a week you probably have an irritated GI system. When this

happens the best thing is clear liquids after a short period of nothing (this

allows the gut to calm down) then some yogurt to reintroduce the beneficial

bacteria. Good luck.

Amber/FL (PS Have you tried Imodium?)

Hi~I haven't seen the doc yet, and if this continues, I will next week.Last

week I got what I thought was a tummy bug. Got uncontrollable case ofthe

trots, and figured it'd be gone inside the prescribed about of time.Well, this

was

last week, and 9 lbs ago. Fortunately, I had gained a bit, fromwhat I thought

was bounceback. So this loss is no biggie. It's how awful I'mfeeling right

now. I'm a straight pipe, and recognize what I ate 2 hours ago asshowing up

in the john. It doesn't seem to be getting any better. Anyone haveany ideas

before I make that appointment and see the doc? I started on someprobiotics

yesterday, and today, I'm not any better. I will continuewith these anyway,

because I know no matter what, they should be good for me, andmy digestive

tract.

Just wonder if anyone else has come across thisparticular problem. Not

asking for a cure, just some experience out there. What did you do,etc? I'm 3+

years out, and have never had this sort of problem before. I'mkeeping as

hydrated as possible, doing my protein shakes...and as muchgood healthy food as

possible. Any thoughts would be appreciated. For now,I can't leave the

house...tied to the bathroom! Not fun

Regards~Jacque
