Guest guest
Yay! I know this is the best feeling- to have your little guy catch up developmentally after all this hard work. Hopefully he'll be able to have an SCD sweet treat someday soon... but by then he may just be hooked on mustard!! Congratulations, PJ > > thought I'd share with here and pecanbread that my son is really coming along on SCD (9 months now)he's scd minus yeast triggers -always been so on board, he's awesome. > He was just 5 in April and he's finally seeming like a 5 year old!! His speech therapist keeps saying how good he's doing, strangers can for the most part, understand him. He doesn't appear to have anymore auditory processing issues (which was brought up in the past as a possible problem) -he has more sense of humor, personality etc etc -I just love it!!! and > GET THIS > we have a new GI who understands the gut -brain connection and thanked me for doing my homework and keeping him SCD!!!! > life is good!! > PS we stopped into Digestive wellness yesterday and he was SO excited to buy SCD mustard - LOL -he can't have most stuff there due to yeast yet but he was so excited to pick something up and ask Is this SCD? and get a yes!! LOL - he was making slurping noises all the way home (like a regular kid would do in a candy store I guess??) just too cute > he had a lil, not too thrilled yet I don't think- it's an acquired taste though LOL > eileen > 2 years 5 months scd >

Guest guest
Hi Eileen, Ths is truly wonderful and thank you for sharing! Keep up the good work. Is your husband more on board now about your son and SCD? It can be difficult for spouses. Guest guest
THANKS All!! PS he doesn't like the mustard at all - LOL -the fact that he never had treats before helps I'm sure - I chuckle that he usually says " this is delicious! " to everything I serve, bland as it is - so why even go to honey right ?? pre-scd every recipe I made I omitted the sweetener -and they loved everything, all 4 of them -it's just what you're used to :-) Jodi, hubby's a bit better especially seeing results and hearing doc say it's the best thing for him right now - but I'm sure he wants him just GF asap :-) we are giving him his 1st MMR the 24th -GI feels comfy as long as there's no thimerisol (which our ped never has) so serious prayers on the 6/24 please-so scary thanks eileen > > > thought I'd share with here and pecanbread that my son is really > > coming along on SCD > > > Yay!!
