Guest guest
There is no norm to this in my opinion. Everyone loses at a different rate depending on how much they need to lose and how their bodies respond to the surgery. Most people lose a big chunk of weight right after surgery because of the water weight they lose then at about 4-6 weeks might go into " hibernation period " then it starts up again and they lose more. I wouldn't compare actual weight loss to any one person though. Some people start out slow and end up fast and some start out fast and end up slow. Some lose it in fits and starts. I am one of the fast at first people and now it is slow and also coming off in fits and starts so I am a combination of all of the above! Clear as mud to ya now isn't it?
