One other thing I forgot to mention is the measuring eyedropper for

measuring meds (painkiller & antibiotic). I had to have my husband

buy one, as decided a spoon wouldn't fit into the bottle of liquid

meds.

I like your idea with whiteboard!!

I just saw the surgeon and he says I'm to pump the

electrolytes " gatorade " and protein. I got into the shower today

and almost passed out. Scared my husband. I'm never been one to

pass out. I'm sending my husband out for gatorade or powerade right

now. If all goes well today and tonight, we'll head home tomorrow.

I'm dying for a split pea soup!! I have to return Friday to see

surgeon again.

Surgeon says everything is good - lots of plates and screws. I have

two little stitches on side of cheeks where he tightened the

screws. I think I look like a combination of Miss Piggy & Shrek ;).

We're thinking of you as you go into surgery tomorrow. Toot toot,

away you go. The June caboose is leaving the station.
