Hi everyone. This looks like a great group. We are brand new here and

still a long way from surgery. My wife and I have been on every diet

in the book. We are usually very successful but we always gain back

what we have lost plus a few. I am a BMI of 44 and My wife has a BMI

of 41. Our Insurance demands a 6 month diet prior to surgery. I don't

understand if it is to show that we can loose weight or that we can

not. Either way its going to be a pain. Then we have about a 3 month

weight after that and I have no idea how long I will have to weight

for my wife to recover from her surgery till I can have mine. So I

may be a year away from my surgery and who where my weight will be by

then. Oh well enough complaining.... We are happy to be part of this

group and will enjoy reading along on how you all are doing on your

weight losses.
