Probiotics - Yogurt Dehydration

Hi all,I *love* backpacking and camping and I'm so excited to be feeling well enough this summer to be able to go. Thanks to SCD I've been on on trip this year so far, and planning a few more.

I've heard that you can dehydrate yogurt for a sort of yogurt taffy. I've tried it a couple of times but so far it's not turning out that well. Any tips are appreciated. What I really want to know is, what happens to the probiotics when the yogurt is dehydrated at about 110 degrees? How about other temperatures?

It'd be nice to know I'm getting some probiotics out there, especially nice on longer trips. Anyone know of any probiotic supplements that don't have to be refrigerated?
