Hey everyone,

I had a good night sleep, from 9:30pm until 6:30 Am. My jaws feel very

tired today, I thinking all kinds of new muscles are being used right

now. I am doing very well being wired together, I can talk just fine.

I talk on the phone and am understood completely. The Dr didn't put

the splint back in so I am just wired. The first time around my tongue

was numb and that made it very hard to talk and be understood. My

tongue is completely normal now. Very happy about that, Dr's were very

concerned about the tongue.

I sound pretty up beat right now but I'm sure I will have days of

frustation ahead of me. I already know my first day will be Monday. I

group of friends and I have sign up for a cooking class. I still going

while all of them eat wonderful things I'll just have to use my other

senses to enjoy the class. I love food.

I'm sorry to hear that some of you can't talk! Is it the splint, numb

tongue, wired? I just had lower so maybe that's the reason I can talk

so well.

Oh the Dr said that I should only have to keep the braces on for a

month or so once I'm released back to the OD. I figure by Sept I will

be finished. This is so emotional for me, all these years of hating

the way my teeth look, and having such trouble eating. I think I

better go lay down I'm starting to cry about nothing.

Good Day to all

Michele
