Guest guest Posted August 19, 2004 Report Share Posted August 19, 2004 Some people just do not feel as hungry after surgery. For me it was like that the first 6 weeks or so. Anasthesia does that to me. For others it takes much longer to gain an appetite back. Not sure why. In my opinion eating just for nutrition is how we should eat anyway. We have learned to eat for the sensory factors of eating though instead of for fueling our bodies. I like the idea of eating just to fuel myself. I stay out of trouble that way.
