Guest guest
Becky, First of all, BEST OF LUCK for tomorrow!!! I will be thinking of you all the time and holding your hand tight! Now, I'm guessing by now it might be too late and you've had your dinner already but I would recommend a light dinner. You don't want to be providing more substance than is necessary to come out of your stomach one way or another. Plus, sorry about the details, but on the morning of my surgery I was so nervous my bowel movements weren't working exactly very smoothly. So light is my advice! My goodness, I can just imagine what angst you must have suffered when you got that phone call from the doctors about the cardiologist. Thankfully all is sorted. Thinking of you and sending you lots of positive vibes. Bye bye to fistula! Sara > so - i never signed up for the 403b (my fiance wanted me to do it back > in feb - so i'm not surprised). a 403b is just like a 401k (or a > retirement plan) - it's just used for educational purposes - since i > work for nyu that's what they use. i think the numbers refer to some > line on the tax code...but beats me. > > i did get a burrito...and nachos...and a margarita! so good. > although at the end of my lunch the surgeon's assistant called. did i > ever see a cardiologist? i was like - what??? she said - you're not > cleared for surgery because you were supposed to see a cardiologist. > > so here's the flashback sequence: > > may 9th - primary care appt. see dr. says i'm fine. mentions he > hears no heart mumur. > > may 25th - pre-op appt. the anethesiologist who checked me out (who > by the way was older than god) says - " i think i hear a heart murmur. > " i say - " that's funny. the other guy didn't.
