I was approved based on type 2 and BMI. I had PCO, but had a complete

hysterectomy in 1997 due to uterine cancer. PLEASE anyone who has PCO,

please know that if you aren't having regular cycles this can lead to

uterine cancer. Even though I was on birth control pills to try and

regulate my cycles, I still wasn't " shedding " the lining enough and was

diagnosed with Stage 1 uterine cancer, discovered during fertility

treatments. Uterine cancer is not diagnosed through regular paps. It

is only diagnosed with a uterine biopsy. During the treatments I had to

have a D & C because the lining was 1 1/2 " thick should have been 1/2 "

thick. What they scraped out was loaded with cancer cells. After the

hysterectomy (age 32), my uterus showed " questionable " spots, so the

cancer was discovered very early. Just a heads up.
