Just one day at a time, That's all God ask of us. for there never really is a tomorrow, as that too is just today:)

Well having neurosarcoidosis since 1971. As you all know aome of the ups and downs.

I have not been posting but I read most of most of the posts.

hope you are not having problems with Your bad lead. have been

trying to remember the a gentleman who always signed in with his name and his wife;s name I think her name was lizzie.

Would you please let me back into the regular website.

I am in a horrible state. I always new my kidneys weren't in great

shape, none of us are all in the same boat. Well my family doctor ran

some routone lab work. Well when they got back the next day the doctor

called me he wanted to repeat some of the lab work. Turned out My potassium was 7.5 both days they admitted me to the hospital Did some treatments I had never heard off. Tj=hey started an IV then gave me 10u of regular insulin then did a Bolus od 50cc's of a sugar bolus.

Anyway I how have severe kidney disease, I see the nephrologist Dr. Diamond Who was the head of the transplant team.

He joined the Pinnical system last year. He is a very special man, my appointment is in three weeks. He is also bob,s nephrologist. When we went in for bob's appointment today. On our way out I asked if they had any special diet, they gave me a diet sheet that which makes life not worth living, only fresh foods is one cup of watermellon and a plum. All veges must be boiled until they become mush.

Please keep me in your prayers. Judy in PA

Hey, Judy. I must have missed your post; just found it while going through unread messages. Boy, you must have some kind of sarc magnet. Hopefully, the kidney problem will be manageable. Sounds like you've got a top doc to assess & recommend treatment. Re: the diet, have you asked for a consultation with a registered dietician? You can probably get some more appetizing foods that will still be okay for your kidneys. I don't understand why you would have to boil your veggies to mush; seems like that would remove some of the nutrients. But the dietician would be the go-to person for that. Keep us in the loop about your kidney disease & treatment, okay?

I just read somewhere about a new sarc support group in Pennsylvania; can't remember where I saw it. Are you aware of any groups near you? If not, I'll try to find that information. Say hello to Bob for me. We have the Indy Sarc retreat this weekend; Baughman & his wife will be speaking again. BTW, how is your son doing since he was diagnosed with sarc?
