Guest guest
Hello everyone, Next Friday June 3 I am having four teeth pulled (2nd bicuspids on top, 1st bicuspids on bottom) by my oral surgeon. He says my teeth are moving really well and hopefully this'll reduce the amount that my jaw will have to be moved (both upper and lower). Has this made a difference for any of you? I'm getting local anesthesia for it. Also, any dietary recommendations for those first few days? I've never had this many teeth pulled at once before. Happy Memorial Day weekend. ~Joanne
Guest guest
Hello, Joanne - I had three wisdom teeth pulled a few years ago and was given IV sedation for it because I didn't want to know what my dentist was doing to me. It really wasn't bad; my mouth was a bit sore back there, but my dentist gave me a prescription for Hydrocodone which was great for the pain. As far as food & drink go, I drank chocolate milkshakes and ate LOTS of ice cream the first few days, and then started to eat soft foods like pasta salad for the rest of the week. Don't worry - it'll go smoothly. Have a nice weekend! // Diane > Hello everyone, > Next Friday June 3 I am having four teeth pulled (2nd bicuspids on top, > 1st bicuspids on bottom) by my oral surgeon. Guest guest
I had two wisdom teeth removed four years ago and both were one the one side of my mouth. The wisdom teeth were impacted and I got stitches. I was given IV sedation when I had them pulled but I did actually hear my teeth crack. I took hydrocodone for a few days and then got off of it. The extractions this time will affect both sides of my mouth. Thanks for the advice. Looking forward to those milkshakes and ice cream; that's what I figured on doing. Last time I started drinking the milkshake before my mouth lost its numbness and got the milkshake all down my front. Glad Mom was there LOL Have a great weekend too! ~Joanne In orthognathicsurgerysupport , " dmd13cyto " <dmd13cyto@y...> wrote: > Hello, Joanne - I had three wisdom teeth pulled a few years ago and was > given IV sedation for it because I didn't want to know what my dentist > was doing to me.
