Guest guest
Cindy, I had the exact situation but earlier than 17 mos. When I was approx. 6 mos. post op started having abdominal pain and bloating. Not necessarily a burning sensation. My WLS surgeon referred me to a gastro doc. He wanted to scope for an ulcer. I asked him if he found one what would be the tx. He said Nexium. So I said lets skip the middle man and give me the Nexium. Once I started the Nexium the pain subsided and I have had no problems with it for over a year now. Smart on your end to suggest it. Sometimes they see a tumor, biopsy it and save your life. Guest guest
Dear Ceep, I have to agree with Cindy. You are a wise woman when it comes to words. I only hope that I can learn to express myself as graciously and tactfully as you do when I am older.. not that I am not getting older by the minute. Afer babysitting my one year old granddaughter for the past 24 hours and helping my sister and bro in law out as they both recuperate .. my sister from total knee replacement surgery and my brother in law from a recent bout of bilateral pneumonia, I feel old.. Peachy hugs,
