Allow me to introduce myself!

Hello all,

My name's Mira and I live in London, England.

I've been avoiding surgery for a while, but finally,

my teeth have slipped over too far for comfort, so I

go to my first surgeon/orthadontist meeting on 28th

July. From then I'll have braces for a while,

culminating in some jaw surgery and then recovering

for some time I imagine!

Here in England, because the state of my jaw affects

my eating and sleeping and gives me horrible

headaches, the operation will be carried out on the

NHS.

I'm very very scared, but have been reading through

the groups emails and archives and it helps that all

you guys are going through the same thing.
