Guest guest
About 10 years ago I think it was ... not sure I started seeing a psychiatrist for depression and he did a complete set of blood work. He asked me if I had recently had an injury or any surgery. He said at the time that high liver enzymes are often a sign that the body is healing from some surgery or injury. I just remembered that when I read your post. from NJ Elevated liver enzymes - Cross posted > On my last 2 sets of labs, my ALT was elevated. After the first time, > I started taking Milk Thistle. I had heard that, too, but I thought that a response to the trauma of surgery would have happened sooner than this since I am almost 15 months out. That's why I was looking for other possibilities. Who knows? I'll just keep on with the milk thistle and keep watching, since I feel fine. Sheri In Sunny Florida
