Hello,

I've been on the SCD for about a month and I ate my first accidental illegal on

Monday- mozzarella cheese. I was out of town and it completely slipped my mind

that its not SCD legal. Anyways, I'm still sick, and it seems to be getting

worse. I haven't been eating a lot because I have been so bloated and suffering

from pretty bad indigestion since then. For the most part I've been sticking to

scrambled eggs, banana pancakes and yogurt. I haven't added any new foods this

week either. I really don't want to go back to the chicken soup diet though,

especially since I can't tolerate carrots. Does anyone have any suggestions or

ideas about when this might end?

Hopefully not long. Put up a pot of soup with the meat and the bones- chicken,

beef, whatever. Don't use the carrots. If you are sick of chicken, try beef and

add lots of meat too. I will cook a whole chuck roast with the bone in plenty of

liquid and eat the soft meat and broth. Cut out the eggs. I have found that a

simple diet of bone broth soup, SCD dripped yogurt, DCCC, meat from the soup and

cooked pureed fruits and vegetables is a good way to calm things down for me.

Not eating a lot at one time, and frequently sipping soup helps a lot.
