Guest guest
I will be having a breath test in a few weeks for bacterial overgrowth and fructose intolerance. Just wondering if anyone else on SCD has fructose intolerance? Life will not be easy on SCD if I test positive for fructose intolerance. I have been trying to eliminate honey and fruits from my diet the past day or two but it is hard! I just can't figure out why my bowels will not settle down. If I am negative for these, I am going to inquire about surgery because I have terrible pelvic pain (burning pain) constantly and it hurts worse when I have D. All my tests come back negative (colonoscopy said very, very mild Crohn's; ultrasounds do not find anything) so I am thinking maybe scar tissue or endometriosis might cause the pain and loose bowels? I am sick of it, been dealing with this for almost two years and no one wants to operate because they don't " SEE " anything on their tests. This makes me think it is either bacterial or scar tissue. Thoughts, advice? Thanks, I love this group!
Guest guest
Hi , Have you had extensive stool testing? To check for Ova, parasites, funghi, bacteria etc..? Also, have you looked into Vulvodunia? Maybe get an alternatively minded GYN doc that deals with Pelvic Floor type dysfunction? I would look into this stuff before I would opt for surgery. I chose not to do the FI test.. I don't eat honey and not too much fruit.. Do you think it can be a low stomach acid issue? Do digestive enzymes help you tolerate fruits more?
