Unfortunately I'm not the moderator or owner of this group, so I can't

do anything for you. The moderator here can't either, he doesn't have

enough power, and we have an absentee-owner (that's also why we get

more spam here).

You and anyone can come to the site, log in and click on EDIT

MEMBERSHIP (you'll find this near the top of the page after your

username). Then you can select NO E-MAIL, or DAILY DIGEST (get a day's

worth of postings, which can still be a lot), SPECIAL NOTICES (you'll

only get special notices from the moderator), or INDIVIDUAL E-MAIL.

Unfortunately most people don't pay attention when they are joining a

group, the default is individual e-mails. You can also select LEAVE

GROUP, if you really want to.

Most people find that setting their membership profile to NO E-MAIL is

the best, and then they can come to the site to read postings and look

at photos. Even if you're done with your surgery, some people like to

come back on their surgery anniversaries to say hi, and we like to

hear from them!
