Guest guest
Hi Carol, so sorry to hear about your nightmarish recovery. I know that you mentioned that you look worse than you expected but keep in mind that you're only four or five days post-op. From what I understand this is when the swelling has peaked and it might be affecting your appearance. Also, I would not make any judgements just yet on how you look. It will probably be at least another two weeks before you begin to get an idea of what your new bite really looks like. I know it's hard not to look at yourself but maybe try avoiding dwelling on this for a few days. The surgery you've just been through is a mega-deal! Be easy on yourself. The anesthesia is probably still wearing off. I know from previous operations I've had that the anesthesia made me feel just lousy about myself in general so I'm sure once it gets out of your system you'll be back to your chirpy self. And remember that we're here for you, always ready to lend a listening ear and any helpful advice that we may have. Sending you lots of sunny and cheery thoughts, Sara > > > I ordered my Zip and Squeeze bags and head wrap yesterday for my > > > surgery on June 14th.
