Guest guest
Yup! I got over 55 of them today that my Norton's caught. Does my heart good everytime I see it snag a virus! It's no ones fault. No one is intentionally sending these viruses out...this is just the way those suckers work....they attach themselves to your address book and send emails appearing to be from you. So like pandy said...update your virus protections...if you don't have one...get one! It's better to spend $25 or $50 now for the software...then spend beaucoup bucks getting your pc worked on after the virus does it's thing on it! OT: Virus Warning Hi Grads: Just a reminder to keep your anti-virus updated. I've been inundated with virus-infected e-mail today (some from members of this list, so I think our e-mail addresses have been harvested =( ). It's likely that some of us are infected w/o knowing it, so update that virus protection and zap those nasty viruses! Our company's general sales e-mail address has been attacked dozens of times today, so we're not the only ones getting hit right now. I actually had a couple of e-mails bounced back to this e-mail account saying that my intended recipient (someone I'd never heard of) couldn't accept the e-mail due to the virus it contained, so our e-mail addresses are being spoofed, too. *sigh* Some people in the world REALLY need to get a life! Thanks and *HUGs* to all!!! pandy =) Homepage: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Graduate-OSSG Unsubscribe: mailto:Graduate-OSSG-unsubscribe
