I've mentioned several times having had surgery for endometrial cancer on

7 April 2008. For my first two years, I had to have labs every four

months. All of them were NEGATIVE.

At my last visit, the oncologist told me it could now be every six

months. And that the labs could be done by my regular gynecologist --

that she (the oncologist) didn't think I needed her any more!

Got my results for the May labs -- NEGATIVE!

Only three years until I can be declared cancer-free... and take the

dream vacation Harry and I have been thinking of through the Canadian

Rockies... on the Rocky Mountaineer.

That's wonderful news, Marilyn!

Keep up the good work! Which of course, I know you will. I really

think a healthy diet has a lot to do with it.

A healthy diet is, I am certain, what kept it from being worse. AND there

were all the healing issues after the surgery. They told me a whole bunch

of " It's not if you have x, it's how much... " for infection,

wound separation, etc. etc. And I had NONE of it. In fact, one of the

surgeons told me, the last time I saw him, that they'd done three more

surgeries similar to mine and none of the women were healing the way I

had.

SCD is HEALTHY!
