Hey Judith,

I can totally understand the " end of the world " comment. I came to

Anniston, AL. from a lifetime in San Tx. where I never had

to want for anything. I could jump on a bus and get it or just walk

not far from our home and get it also. We did have auto's though

but it helped the air quality to carpool or take the Bus. Its been

a tough learning curve for me these past 2 yrs and 9 mos. and my

husband still calls me Dorothy. His comment " Dorothy your not in

Texas anymore " instead of the more common " Kansas " . UGH...men! ;-)

My Husband's a California boy too but has lived here 16 yrs due to

being stationed in the Army and having married an AL.

woman/producing two children. We will wait until they are out of

school then I think head to the Rockies!

Hugs, in AL.

Hey ,

Oh mei, do you mean that moving to the Rockies as a last resort? I

understand the Rocky Mountains even more as " End of the world " than Southern

Alabama.

Here they don't even recycle, and if you try to, you'll be " punished " by

using up all that gas to get from one town that has a paper recycling bin to

the next town where they recycle aluminum and so on.

What really bugs me is the fact that wherever you look there is junk food,

but if you try to find the " right stuff " you have to reach deeeeeep into you

wallet, or you can't find a Health food store, period.

Us girls and our husbands!!!! It seems like we both went a long way to be

with the one we love..... :)

Oh, you know, we are just peachy down here in the south......:-)

How is the health up north?

I wanted to go to the beach in the morning, but 6 Sharks have been counted

and an official alarm has been given out. Now that doesn't mean that you can

t swimm closer to shore!!

It really makes me mad because I love to swim ( I used to really swim in a

kinda club)

but that was a long time ago, is great for back and shoulders....

Grilled shark???

Health up here...uum well dh got a bloody nose this morning and it

upset me some. Its dry and we were both stuffy last night. Sharks,

I love to watch them in captivity but not in the open water. My son

has always had a facination with sharks and other animals. He's

going to own a wildlife animal reserve someday in the Rockies. Now

that is another reason I want to live near there. Please be careful

cause I am sure they'd love to have a piece of you. Hungry

suckers! I have seen them rip a side of beef into shreds in seconds.

Have a good weekend!

Judith,

Last meal...oh yeah I've been thinking of it alot of times. But it

starts on my birthday, 1st and ends when they tell me I have to get

ready for surgery..guess they night before...LOL! I have to admit

and if you are a diabetic, Don will sneak stuff that is SUGAR and I

find the wrappers in his car and tucked up under the seats. He is

alway sneaking stuff like a kid. Now when we de-sugar the house I

hope it happens at work and in the car. Now Don's kids will not

like it when they come to visit and they can't find their usual

sugared snacks...uumm maybe they will stop coming??? (evil grin)!

Don know's if he doesn't help me after surgery...I am go'in to TX!

But I am sure he will. Said he is staying with me in " the bed " each

night too! I had to laugh at that one...LOL! He has to be at work

at 5am each day so we will see about that...and come home to take

the dog out will be interesting prior to going to work. Hospital is

in the middle of home and work. I just would love to see how that

works. I'd rather him come home sleep and get up earlier to come to

the hospital to see me before going to work but...he's hard headed.

, I sleep in a water bed. My hospital bed was so uncomfortable

I ended up sleeping in a recliner. If you have the same setup let

your husband have the bed and sleep in the chair. LOL

Hey

my mob does it all the times: Candy, chocolate, just yesterday he had to get

another half gallon of ice creme. In the hospital I had a room with a

guest bed in it, that according to my family was very comfy. My husband

showed his face only once, but I don't blame him (I hate hospitals as much

as he does) lol.

Hard headed is just another word for husband!!

Tick tock??? Good wishes....... JJ
