Becky,

Yes, your OS was right on target. My OD originally told me 18

months, so as you can see with my surgery scheduled for June 28th and

braces for 28 months, he was surely way off. He also first told me

that I would be needing SARPE surgery which has now changed to Lefort

3 piece. Oh well, at least surgery is near!

Take Care,

I'm beginning to feel really lucky despite my previous 10 years of

braces. AND I NEVER thought I would say something like that! This

time around by the time I have surgery I will have had braces on for

only 6 months which is exactly what the ortho estimated. Seems really

minor compared to the rest of you. Here's to hoping that the rest of

the process goes to plan for all of us!

Sara...I have had my braces on this round since december 04 also.

And my ortho said yesterday that he believes I will be done in a

year (from start to finish). SO that would mean my braces will

hopefully be off December 05!
