Hi Judy,

It really sounds like you must have a really bad infection. A few

years back I had a bad infection like yours that took forever to get

rid of. My ears stayed clogged for about a month. If you are still

having the same symptoms once you have completed the course of taking

the antibiotics, then I would surely head back to the doctor so he

can try another antibiotic and possibly some ear drops which is what

I ended up having to do. Like I said, it took about a month or more

until my ears finally started unclogging. I was so miserable. Are

you taking anything to promote some draining? My doctor always tells

me to take some Sudafed even for the ears to help clear them up. The

Sudafed (red tablets) seems to really help everytime.

I have been using the good ole wax for all my mouth irritations from

the wires. It is a pain, but it surely helps to allow the area to

heal. My braces seem to be driving me crazy more so now than ever.

I would guess that it is because of these thicker wires and hooks.

Yes, you are surely correct when you say some of us just seem to stay

in limbo during this recovery. I was already prepared with all of my

previous dental complications to have a little bit harder time than

others recovering. I was warned about this before surgery. But

heck, enough is enough..(haha) I know that (minirascal), you,

and I are all in this limbo loop together!

Hang in there & let's take one day at a time and hope today is a

brighter day for us 3 in limbo!
