I know my sugeon does not have any dietary follow-up after the

surgery; it's the one of those " CUT AND RUN " rackets. The only

follow-up I got was surgically. I am still trying to work with my pcp (as

we muddle through this aftercare together). He was the one who saved

my life after my surgery... it certainlly was not my surgeon or his staff.

If it were not for support groups, such as this one, I would have NO

idea how to take care of myself. I swear it is so hard when you are left

" in the real world " without ANY help. It is scary how many must be

out there like myself that doesn't know how to care for their bodies.

There is still so much I don't understand... I wish I could get over this

embarassement to ask you people the questions I need to. Not to

metion the ones I haven't even thought to ask.

**Sigh**

Kathy darlin,

Ask away! We are totally here for you ok? Nothing is stupid...NOTHING!

I think the only posts I have to breathe into a bag for are the ones where

folks are too obsessed about losing and are paranoid even though they are

doing just fine. It's a hot button for me only because I used to be like

that lol..so it's my little problem I have to work on.
