Guest guest
Has anyone in here asked their surgeon as to how much food at one time we are to eat? Say, you are having chicken breast for supper with green beans. Meat and veggie. How much chicken and how much veggie? I was wondering how much the pouch can hold at one time, safely, after 2 years out of surgery. I never fill full. I eat, and when I eat too much, I usually end of throwing it up. I can eat an entire six inch subway sandwich, bread and all at one time and keep it down, but just barely. But, you see, I don't want to keep doing that. What I want to do is measure my food before I eat it so that I will get just the right amount. And I don't know how much. Should it be like 4 ounces of hamburger and 2 cups of green beans? I have been on a diet recently that required me to eat, at lunch, four ounces of meat and 2 cups of salad...and for supper, 4 oz. of meat and 3 cups of vegetables. It has been very very very difficult to do this. I am hurting my stomach, and usually in pain. So, this is why I need to measure the APPROPRIATE amount of food for my pouch and then eat it. Does anybody know???
