You might consider dropping back to easier to digest foods for a day or two after you remove the apples, just to give the recovery a leg up. Not necessarily intro, but just easier to digest. Both you AND your husband need to make sure that food diary is up to date so the right hand knows what the left hand is doing! Guest guest
Thanks Marilyn and . We'll go back to easier to digest foods. She's getting tired of eating gelatin, applesauce, pear sauce, bananas, meat (all meat) and zucchini and will barely eat any of it, and absolutely refuses to eat broth so I need to come up with some other ideas. The only two things she hasn't tired of yet are banana pancakes and banana/grape juice smoothies. She hasn't been eating much lunch lately and finally revealed it is because other kids make fun of her at camp because she eats " weird food " and can't have group snacks, etc. She initially said it was because she wasn't hungry or " didn't have time " to eat everything. I am trying to use this as a learning opportunity but geez... why do kids have to do stuff like that? I expected to deal with this sort of thing when my daughter was a bit older, but not at 5 years old. I think I will wait until next week to do the test. The doctor is eager to get my daughter started on Sulfalazine, but we've waited this long... another week isn't going to make a huge difference. Thanks again for the replies. > You might consider dropping back to easier to > digest foods for a day or two after you remove > the apples, just to give the recovery a leg up. > > Not necessarily intro, but just easier to digest. > > Both you AND your husband need to make sure that > food diary is up to date so the right hand knows > what the left hand is doing!
