Guest guest
Hi , I haven't tried the recipe on Comfy Tummy, but I did make some crepe like things with eggs. I rolled some cheddar cheese up in them and grilled them for a quesadilla. All I did was take about 4 or 5 egg whites, add 1 tbls of water, mix well, but not so much that bubbles form. Pour 2 or 3 tbls of egg mixture in a warm pan, when top side is firm flip over and cook until brown. Repeat with remaining mixture. Good luck!~ I'd love to make the SCD crepes posted on Comfy Tummy, but they include cashew butter. My daughter is allergic to peanuts and tree nuts. Does anyone have suggestions for a SCD-legal, non-nut substitute for cashew butter or does anyone know if I leave it out of the recipe, will the crepes still come out okay? Thank you!~mom to almost 6 year old daughter diagnosed with ulcerative colitis (2010), uveitis (2008), juvenile arthritis (2006), and food allergies, asthma and seasonal allergies (2005). On week six of the SCD.
