Have you had your thyroid checked lately? Some of those symptoms could be

thyroid.

The patch is HRT (hormone replacement therapy). My doc prescribed

Vivelle (SP?) at .1 strength. Since I don't do pills as well, this

was the way my doc & I decided to go.

I have no problem with pills but I didn't seem to be absorbing all

the hormones in pill form- was having flashing, sweating, mood

swings, etc. So my gyn. switched me to the Vivelle patch along with

a vaginal pill twice a week. Works like a charm.
