No, nothing you can buy.  I use tumeric in it's place.

 

Here's a recipe from pecanbread.com

 

CURRY POWDERfrom Sue4 tsp. ground cumin seeds4 tsp. ground coriander seeds4 tsp. turmeric1 tsp. cinnamon1/2 tsp. nutmeg1/2 tsp. cayenne1/2 tsp. black pepper1/2 tsp. ground cloves

1/2 tsp.'s ground cardamomStir ingredients together well, and store in a small glass jar.

Now, Penzeys has a couple curry blends. They list the ingredients online and

there are no fillers, starches, etc. so unless there is some individual spice

that's an issue, they should be fine. I guess my thought is that if you are

trusting other Penzeys stuff then you would trust these, too. I use the Garam

Masala: Hand-mixed from: Moroccan coriander, Tellicherry black peppercorns,

cardamom, Korintje cassia cinnamon, kalonji, caraway, cloves, ginger and nutmeg.

I didn't know there was a legal curry or any of the others you mentioned.  I dread going to the new store--won't be able to grab everything I want...;-).  But I love curry so that'll be nice.  Any particular one that tastes exactly like real curry?  I like just a pinch in egg salad.
