Guest guest
I'm just getting braces on next week. Then a year later I will have my upper maxilla moved forward about 5mm. This sounds fairly minor compared to some of the postings on this group. Does anyone know whether a less intensive surgery actually translates into a less unpleasant experience, or is it all the same? Thanks,
Guest guest
Sure.. the less cutting the better. Upper jaw swelling goes down slower than lower jaw, but the numbness has a higher chance of permanently resolving. Either way, it's better than getting both, like what I had . > I'm just getting braces on next week. Then a year later I will have my > upper maxilla moved forward about 5mm.
