Guest guest
Sara, I'm not 100% sure if this is right, but I remember being told to use ice only for the first 5 days or so and then to switch to heat. I used the Bed Bath and Beyond Bed Buddy a lot in weeks 2-4. 1 1/2 minutes in the microwave and it would be toasty. Then I'd lean back and mold it where I needed it. It helped me to sleep and always made me feel better. My Boyfriend enjoyed it recently too, when he hurt his shoulder. Take care, Carol > Matt, you really put me to shame. Guest guest
Hey Sara, It response to the hot packs, I am not sure exactly what they are made of. I recieved them from my doctor pre surgery and I know they are more a gel pack that can be put in the microwave. I know you need to put a towel around them because they dont want direct contact. I have been informed to watch my advice about these hot packs. I guess its different for each case and you should consult your doctor but for me the hot packs have been great in just releaving tension. I hope this helps Though everyone says to stay positive i realize how hard it is to stay this way. I too go through extreme highs and extreme lows. Though that is my nature, i know this surgery doesnt help. I try to just look for the best in each day and know that every day I am closer and closer to a full recovery. Best of luck, Matt __________________________________ Yahoo! Mail Mobile Take Yahoo! Mail with you!
