I wasn't given an special mouthwash to disinfect my mouth with pre-op

but i have been using periodex since I've had the surgery. I have to

rinse my mouth and expectorate (love that word!) twice a day in

addition to brushing my teeth 5 times a day. I'm sure your surgeon

will tell you if he/she requires you to use a special disinfectant pre-

op.

Only 5 more days to go for you, whoohoo!!!

Thanks for the reply. Don't you just love the taste of periodex.

When they banded my back molars I ended up with the gum

inflamed/infected as they had to go below the gum line. Taste is

bad, but it did the trick. I'll ask the OS on Wed. Yes, a big wahoo

- only 5 days to go!

Good luck on move to Italy. Will you be able to keep in touch via

Internet from Italy?
