Guest guest
If I looked as good as you do, I wouldn't even be considering PS. Tara....you look awesome! No way I could get into a two piece bathing suit. The stomach flap would hang through the leg holes! And I can grab whole handfuls of skin from my inner thighs! I can't see my butt...but I am sure it is just as bad. As for the " girls " ? Try zip lock bags with an ounce of water in them? Got the picture? LOL I sure don't know WHO'S picture your mother was looking at...but it sure wasn't YOU! I wish I could say my PS was just to help me look normal...but for me it is a medical necessity and one surgery I did not want to have. Now I am stuck having not one, but two more surgeries to try and " fix " things, just so I can get off of antibiotics. Tara, you are a beautiful young lady. Do what you need to make yourself feel better....but what I see in your pictures looks 100 times better then most " normies " out there! JMNSHO! I know this is the first step, and I'm scared now. I'm going in for my to be evaluated for for abdominoplasty and breast augmentation. If the Military Hospital had the staff to perform PS i would have it done with no problem. So i went and told Mom- hey i need you to babysit- i told her why and then she asked if i was going to get my legs done- I told her i never even thought about it- Then she goes on to say They are really bad , even your sister notices it. Would someone go to my web page and look at my legs and tell me what you think?http://www.msnusers.com/taraswlspage I dint think they are bad i think they just need a little toning on the back side of thighs.I don't want to be or look like a model . i just need a little touch ups here an there. I guess what I'm saying i thought i did pretty good with the weight loss(160 gone), my arms are great, i thought the legs were OK- and i feel like Mom needed to knock me down a bit. My " girls " are the ones i worry about. What does the word " ptosis " mean- The Doc put in the referral " significant ptosis of the breast? I looked in my dictionary i couldn't find the word. Thanks for letting me rattle on. Tara
Guest guest
Tara, Your pics look great. From those, I don't see what your mom is talking about. But honestly, it's your body and you know what bothers you and doesn't. If your legs weren't a problem to you until Mom mentioned it, it must not really be a problem. We are very critical of ourselves and if you never thought about it, there is a reason. I have loose skin even on my hands and feet after the weight loss but I don't plan on getting PS there...lol. Guest guest
Tara, you look amazing! There's nothing wrong with your legs. Ptosis means they're hangin' low. LOL in NJ
Guest guest
Thank-You all for the kind words, kinda lifts the spirits up.This is all so nerve racking. " To do " or " not to do " , but another way to for me to make up my mind- is just let the insurance people do it for me- I just know if i get myself all excited they will say NO and if i make up my mind and say i dont want this- they will say yes.Just my luck. Thanks-Again for the kind words. Tara
