Guest guest
Sher, First of all your son sounds like an absolute darling:-) Second, wow, I'm sorry to hear that your back teeth don't meet. It can probably be fixed with orthodontics. Mine luckily do meet it's just that sometimes when I'm not thinking I bite down and I feel like everything is crooked, kind of like an old man with no teeth would bite down like. I don't know if that makes sense. As for the TMJ pain, I had that too very much as well post-op and I am guessing that it is normal for you to have now that you've been unwired. Mine also got worse the day I was put on less tight elastics but it does get better, I promise. Now my TMJ just hurts a lot when I take the elastics off to eat and brush my teeth. I think it's all the muscles trying to get use to the new situation. Keep on enjoying those rolos and mashed potatoes. I still don't have the guts to be so adventurous food wise:-) Sara
